Your talk is your future!

By -

Our mouths were not given to us for talking and eating only. Our mouth is a powerful tool, that is, a tool that we use to chart our course n life. Proverbs 18:21 says ‘death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.’
The quality of your life today is the direct result of your tongue-work. What do I mean…..what you sow with your mouth, you reap in real life. What you say with your mouth will affect the course of your destiny, positively or negatively.
The difference between the born again and the non-born again is not that one goes to church and the other doesn’t but rather is what the born again says with his mouth that the non-born again is yet to say. The Bible says in Roman’s 10:10 ‘…… with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
The born again accepted in his heart and confessed Jesus’ Lordship and hence was catapulted into salvation. And yes he is entitled to the fruits of Salvation of which include; joy, peace health, prosperity, victory, success. Yes all this belong to them who are in union with Jesus Christ. But it is of importance to note that, they are not yours unless you CONFESS that they are yours.
It is not enough to believe that what God says belongs to you is yours; you have got to say it. So if you are not content with the current state of your life then you need to change your talk. Begin to talk right. Refuse to think negative. Talk yourself up, talk your way forward and talk yourself to greatness! Read Mathew 12:37……’For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy word thou shalt be condemned.’
